Small and Simple Love
“Let all that you do be done in love.”
1 Corinthians 16:14
The finger heart originated in Korean pop culture and has since become a well known symbol of affection.
I love this gesture because it’s a way to show love and warm feelings that’s understood universally. It has crossed language barriers and cultural differences to show the whole world a little more love.
The finger heart is also the smallest type of hand heart.
To me it’s come to represent small and simple ways we love. Like sharing a new favorite song with a friend, calling up a loved one just to chat, or smiling at the strangers who pass through our days. It’s a way of living and loving quietly and intentionally in all we do. Because even the smallest acts of love can make the biggest difference in the lives of those around us.
