Honest Love

 “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”

Matthew 22:39

This hand heart lies on a calm green background representing health and clarity. 

This gesture makes one of the cleanest heart shapes, both for the person who creates the gesture, and for the people who see it. There are no fingers that get in the way of the heart itself so it looks very similar from both sides. It is also often made between two people. 

To me this heart represents the type of love that blesses the lives of everyone involved.

This love is shown through long conversations with loved one, or by asking for help and showing up to assist. It’s listening and sharing. It’s about loving yourself and loving the other person. It’s trusting that they love you and being the kind of person they can trust to love them. This heart goes both ways, it’s clean and clear and beautiful.
